God called us to do the impossible

God called us to do the impossible

plans and phases, consistently growing and changing, each one as vital as the one before it

God didn't give us the entire vision at one time, but it has grown and expanded. These plans reflect the growth and seasons of ministry we've experienced and continue to push toward as a team. The important thing is, God is not done with us yet, and there is always more to do!

Phase 1

complete

During this time we will, cast the vision of Anchor Faith Church, and begin receiving tithes and offerings. We will teach, train, and equip leaders for the launch of the church to the public by April of 2004.

We will establish and purchase various marketing tools, i.e. bumper stickers, hats, shirts, newspaper, radio, and television advertising. Phase one will conclude by securing and purchasing necessary equipment, and preparing a facility to hold church services for projected launch date.

Phase 2

complete

Launch the church to the public on April 11, 2004. Our format will consist of Sunday morning services and a midweek service on Wednesday nights. Anchor Faith Life Classes will be offered to allow the congregation to connect in an intimate atmosphere as the church grows. These classes will be a discipleship tool for spiritual growth, as well as offer practical classes such as marriage development, and money management. We’ll have these available for adults, teenagers, and our Nautilus KV ages.

Our kid's ministry, Nautilus, is designed to serve children from infants to 5th grade. Qualified teachers utilize a full gospel based curriculum to teach our kids the Word of God. Nautilus Jr. is structured to serve infants through 4 years old using videos, songs, fun illustrations, coloring exercises and hands-on crafts.

Nautilus KV is upbeat, dynamic, full of games, puppets, sketches, videos, energetic worship and characters all designed to teach the principles of the Word to our elementary aged kids. These services are available both Sunday morning and Wednesday evening during our adult services.

Our youth ministry, The Current, meets every Wednesday night at 7:30pm. The youth come together for a time of fellowship, praise and worship and to receive the Word of God. The Current is geared toward 6th through 12th grade and provides young people with an opportunity to grow in the things of God. Various fellowships are offered throughout the year as well as retreats and annual summer youth camp.

Another aspect of this phase is the implementation of our Fellowzips. The purpose of these groups will be to connect the church body together and encourage church growth by hanging out around common interests with those who live near you, in your zip code. Outreach opportunities to invite individuals and families to connect and build community within the church will be a priority for these groups.

In addition to our preschool, and developing our outreach centers we will purchase buses and develop a bus ministry for children and youth. We have a strong desire to minister to people in rural areas and provide transportation to and from ministry services and events for those in these areas who may not have a means of transportation to church.

Phase 3

on going

In this phase we will implement and develop Treasure Harbor Preschool, a Monday-Friday childcare facility. The focus of our preschool will be to provide high quality childcare for working parents in a Godly atmosphere. Our goal is to emphasize teaching Biblical principles from a young age and to prepare them for grade school.

We plan to provide programming for a radio station that has a balance of music and ministering of the Word.
This phase will include developing outreach centers, designed to bridge us into the community. We will purchase property to be "sub-stations" located in strategic locations throughout the city.

These ministry sub-stations will help to facilitate both practical and spiritual needs of individuals within our community. Clothes and food distribution, the treatment of minor medical needs and various other types of assistance will be offered. We will also incorporate a Saturday service for each Anchor Faith Outreach Center.

Phase 4

developing

In addition to Treasure Harbor Preschool we will also operate a K-12 private school: Washington elementary, middle, and high school. We will employ teachers with high academic commitment and Biblical training so that we can provide strong instruction both naturally and spiritually. We will emphasize leadership, character, and integrity according to the Word. The schools will not be limited to just academics but include athletic programs. This will allow our student body to not miss out on programs that help build principles such as teamwork, self-control, and discipline. We believe this set up will offer opportunities for the students of all ages to be well rounded and well educated.

Phase 5

developing

In this phase we will implement strategies for planting Anchor Faith Churches and Kingdom Institutes both nationally and internationally around the world. Through Anchor Faith Ministerial Association (AFMA) we will develop a network of ministers for the purpose of advancing the Gospel of the Kingdom. We will create an organization that will equip and empower five-fold ministers through accountability and apostolic oversight by providing biblical based teaching for ministry.

For Anchor Faith Churches we will provide a headquarters model of administration along with the sharing of resources through a franchise model of ministry. We plan to financially support church plants for the first year as well as initial start-up funds beginning at $10,000. For Kingdom Institutes, we will provide standardized curriculum and administrative tools for instructors and the student body. In addition we will help support the construction of facilities internationally.
